The Colosseum is open all year round, with opening hours varying according to the season. In general, the hours of opening is set at 9:00 in the morningwhile the closing time changes as the sunlight changes. From end of March to end of Augustthe Colosseum closes at 19:15while from late August to late October closing time is brought forward to 18:30. During the winter months, November to February, the monument closes at 16:30. It is important to note that the last entry is allowed one hour before closing time.
